What is TokenTraxx? What triggers you to launch TokenTraxx? What is the vision and mission?

Token||Traxx is a tech company that innovates how we discover, engage, share and now trade music

I have been a professional music Creative for 30 years, I’ve been signed to major labels and publishers, worked with big and small artists and sold and streamed billions along the way.

I’ve seen the pitfalls, the traps and the sharks but I’ve also seen the incredible power and beauty of music and how it can transform lives.

It’s always a slog and it never gets easier but with the right tools everyone gets a chance and with tech like NFT and blockchain I see the opportunities.

That’s why 18 months ago I devised the concept of Token||Traxx and we’ve been diligently and methodically building our team ever since.

The music industry is in a mess, with 65% of pro musicians in the UK earning less then $20k a year and 95% of artists on Spotify making less than $1k a year, it’s extremely hard to be a full time music creative.

And yet this is the absolute best time for music discovery and theres a wealth of amazing music out there, its just not getting the exposure or funding it deserves.

What differentiates TokenIITraxx from other NFT protocols? How does it work? How does TokenllTraxx plan to stay relevant in the crypto space now?

TommyD :),
Thats really important

Token||Traxx is the only NFT marketplace built by musicians for the music community

I mean all types of musicians

We’re keen to address how every area of music discovery, adoption and engagement can be improved using web3 tools.

We’re essentially a music marketplace that gives all members of the music community access to web3 tools but unlike others in the space we have a ridiculous amount of talent across all aspects of the company.

we have a solid backbone of expertise, especially around tech, commercial growth and musical talent development

Being a producer that’s worked with such a different multitude of diverse artists I’ve seen the benefit that people like myself can bring to an artist in pushing them to greater heights

Token||Traxx is based on Zilliqa. What impact has the adoption of this technology had on the development of your NFT-based music protocols? What enhancements does Zilliqa provide to your ecosystem and how have users benefited from this?

Brian Elders,
Let me start with Zilliqa … ZIL has low gas fees, average $1 per NFT mint and an extremely low carbon footprint.
Zilliqa minting emits 82 times less CO2 than Ethereum and Zilliqa intends to go carbon neutral this year.
There are others out there which are cheap on gas fees, but Zilliqa is established, it has built a solid foundation and is building out its ecosystem
For many of the creatives that we intefact with this is very important
as Tommy can tell you brand, reputation and image are everything
The change in tech is progressing at a rapid pace not just in Zil but with many other parts of the ecosystem from IPFS to Oracles and all will have an impact on what can be offered

His vision for blockchain and the creator economy totally is aligned to mine
Ben Livshits is a legend in tech and his vision for building out Zilliqa into a truly versatile blockchain on every level is really impressive.

I believe in multichain, that all chains will connect seemlessly in time, just like mobile phone coverage is now.

Could you share a bit about Token||Traxx tokenomics and use-cases $TRAXX tokens on ecosystem?

We are planning to release our gitbook very soon
and all these details will be in there

NFT music is popular. But some of the challenges musicians face are poor content marketing and piracy, what have you done to ensure that any of their content or work is copyrighted? Do you have a method for artists to regain control and actually monetize their value creation?

TommyD :),
This is a really good question and a very important one.
I think the concepts around Music IP, the legal precidents that are already in place around songwriting master and performance rights are fair and accurate
The problem is the system that has been built around them
Issues around IP ownership and the lengths creators have to go through to get their music out there because of a restrictive controlling gated system, that is weighted to the very few is what Token||Traxx aims to blow up.
Regarding piracy, Blockchain wallet addresses are designed to install a sense that no one can be trusted and therefore as much due diligence that can be exercised on the ownership of a wallet is essential
The blockchain is completely transparent and so that exercise is not a hard one.
I believe there is a middle ground, where you are encouraged to do your own due diligence but in a safe environment. And that safe environment is Token||Traxx

I see there are 3 main audiences you are targeting like Creators, Curators, Collectors. Can you share the characteristics of each of these object types and what methods would you support to make a profit on Token||Traxx?

Token||Traxx announces the first milestone of 2022, the expected sale of its tokens. What are the guarantees you offer to the investors of these tokens? Is there any investment risk? How do they generate confidence, since many projects have disappeared from the networks?

Is there any investment risk?

The tokens are unregulated utilty / platform or network tokens … not financial investments
as with any new concept there are risks involved
so while we wish that all goes well there are no guarantess a team can give … as you all know from the many other projects you have reviewed over the the years

I think this comes back to the team … real people, honestly working to deliver

Can you share with us the details of Token||Traxx revenue? How is the revenue model used apart from being allocated for ecosystem development and how do investors also benefit?

I am afraid my answer to this one is the same as the Tokenomics above

Community is a strong force for projects, and how do you strengthen relationships with the community? Is the community your main focus? How do you view the community?

TommyD :),
I think community is at the heart of all Blockchain projects, especially NFTs
It is something we discuss and prioritise with the artist that we are working with to make them understand that the success that they wish to have in web3 revolves around the work that they need to do with building and engaging and rewarding their communities
bringing communities in from the traditional world of streaming and gigs
and merging that with the web3 NFT community
We want to onboard and grow crypto
thats are ultimate goal
