Hi everyone, I’m Ben Lightfoot. CMO

I am James Maher, the CFO of BAXE. After my MBA at Berkeley I worked in financial planning & analysis for a few years then got interested in equity analysis. I completed the CFA program and became a publishing sell-side analyst, then joined a hedge fund. In 2017 I joined my first blockchain company as COO at Red Pulse. I have been with BAXE for one year.

Hi I’m the COO or Baxe. I have a hostory in electronic trading in the capital markets (Citigroup, JP Morgan, Macquarie Bank). More recently in VC building companies in Hong Kong and China and have been at BAXE for a little over a year…

BAXE (Blockchain Augmented eXchangE) is an integrated value exchange and communications platform built on decentralised blockchain technology. The BAXE platform is a feature-rich ecosystem built on the blockchain. What is your global expansion plan? Are you focusing on marketing at this time or focusing on building and developing or getting customers and users, or partnerships?

James Maher,
We will be launching BAXE in the EU during Q2 and then we have plans for APAC. We will be building out our technology and offering more services on the BAXE platform while also building our brand and driving growth in our communities.

We have some unbelievably exciting announouncements on global collaborations with influencers, key opinion leaders and celebrities!

What are the competitive advantages of your project? What would make your project a contender in the market today in terms of scalability, security, features, and adaptability?

James Maher,
BAXE is an integrated value exchange and communications platform built on decentralised blockchain technology. Therefore we can offer a seamless and easy to use solution for communications, e-commerce and digital assets — all in one place. BAXE offers exceptional privacy with biometric identity features and the security of knowing that we will not sell user data.

Andrew,
There’s a number of different technical components that make up the platform so we have blockchain rails which allows us to move value around the network. There’s a rich feature set of applications for payments, and also the ability to do international remittances, much cheaper than your western unions or other remittance apps.

We are also building out utlility token called BAXE Market Coin (BMC),, our utility token that allows our users to participate in the value that’s created by the network. sharing in the network effects that our users help create.

We have partned with Consensys (Joe Lubin is a co-founder of Ethereum) to create a bridge between traditional and crypto spheres. Our target is really to bring crypto to the mainstream in a way that abstracts away the challenges and complexities of crypto.

Are you working to audit your project to make it more secure and reliable?

Andrew,
We’ve completed our ISO 27001 compliance (from BSI) and got the green-light which is exciting!

We worked with Herjevac (you may know of Robert Herjevac from the Shark Tank!) on our security to make sure our platform is super secure.

Our first market for rollout is the 27 member states of EU and we are in the process to be regulated as an electronic money institution, so have central banking regulators to answer to for our first bridge.
We will be regulated in most countries that we operate in

What are the tokenomics of your project?

The BMC tokenomics are structured as a fixed offering of 1 billion tokens with no new minting after the TGE. 25% of the total will be sold in Seed, Private and Public Offerings. We are currently taking commitments in the Seed & Private rounds and hope to announce the Public round timing in coming months.

Andrew,
We really want our users to partcipate in the value creation on the platform. A portion of the value created on the paltform will accrue to the holders of the Baxe market coin.

How will you keep your project safe and secure?

James Maher,
BAXE offers exceptional privacy with biometric identity features and the security of knowing that we will not sell user data.

Andrew,
We store user data in each individuals secure vault and break the cryptogaphic keys into pieces with are stored in different places. It’s a unique piece of tech we are using from one of our partners

James Maher,
So its very safe and recoverable

Baxe will provide features such as Message, call, live stream, all privately. However, this features can also be used for illegal activities such a money laundering and scams. How would Baxe deal with this matter and secure your user’s privacy and the platform’s integrity?

James Maher,
BAXE takes our responsibilities very seriously. Therefore we have very robust KYC and AML policies to be certain we know the people we are serving as our users. The messaging features of BAXE are private, but any financial transactions are only between BAXE users and BAXE has verified our users’ identity.

Andrew,
We have a number of people in our complaince team, robust process and procedures around KYC, AML and CTF and several technology systems to track financial transactions. Given we will be regulated in most jurisdictions we need to make sure we meet requirements from the regulators…

In terms of privacy. Your data and information is priceless. Even though we have passwords it doesn’t take a tech guru to hack your phone and steal your data. A monkey can do it. With Baxe, only sophisticated biometrics will get you in… they include YOUR voice, YOUR fingerprints, and YOUR facial features. And combined with blockchain your data has never been safer.

At BAXE, users can pay anything instantly & securely. Can you share what payment types are available on BAXE? Is it possible to buy cryptocurrency, pay for a restaurant, hotel or other? Are there plans to include payment/receipt option FIAT?

James Maher,
BAXE offers users a virtual debit card which can be user anywhere that a debit card is accepted, like restaurants and retail stores. For crypto purchases, users can deposit money into their BAXE wallets and then use their funds.

BAXE App is compatible with IOS/Android mobile devices, but in the future will it be compatible with other devices? Is NFT also implemented in your App? Is KYC required to use the BAXE App?

Andrew,
Yes we have mulitple UI across multi device, boht iOS and andriod and also a web browser UI

James Maher,
NFT offerings are on our roadmap but will not be part of our initial launch.
The messaging features of BAXE do not require KYC, but any commercial features like the debit card or exchanging value will require KYC.

Andrew,
non-financial features dont require KYC but once start doing financial transactions we have a tiered risk based KYC approach

Ben Lightfoot,
BAXE users will be able to login through the web portal as well as our IOS and Andriod apps and access features such as chat, community feeds, groups, finances, wallets and digital assets in a fully secure storage.

There is a lot of finance right now in the crypto world and new projects are being released every day. However, one of the main financial problems is that it is not user friendly. They are usually slow in dealing with user complaints. What types of services does BAXE apply to us?

Baxe have focused on the product build to provide amazing intuitive UX for users. We also recognise that sometimes users need to speak to a person. we are working with a partner to spin up a call centre with servkce agents for those rare issues one needs to speak with a human…..

From a customer loyalty standpoint, we have partnered with Salesforce to rollout the full suite of assets to make sure we cover all the questions that a user might ask when there are issues within our app and ecosystem.

You have a problem logging in, we simply send you a code and through our integration with IDEMIA and Haventec we remove that friction.
