I am Tanya, Admin Manager for Polker. As a member of Polker, I help build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification. I also deal with queries that come in via our social media accounts and email, tracking them down, and making sure that the issues are resolved quickly and satisfactorily. I also do a lot of AMAs with other crypto communities to spread the word about Polker.

Can you tell us about POLKER, what is the inspiration behind the POLKER?

Polker or PKR.io is a novel platform that offers multiple protocols that can be implemented alone or in combination. We provide solutions to problems that multiple industries that implement blockchain technology are facing.

Polker.Game is the first blockchain based, Free to Play & Play to Earn, Poker NFT metaverse game that uses Unreal Engine 4 for immersive and powerful gameplay while utilizing a provably fair system and TRNG technology. Our gaming metaverse combines virtual reality with the endless possibilities of blockchain technology. Our users will be able to enjoy immersive graphics and play among each other within the metaverse. They’ll also be able to edit the graphics and create a personalized gaming experience.

As to how the Polker was conceptualized, our team came together due to a love of three things — gaming, crypto, and cards. With these passions, the idea of a Poker game built in UE4 grew. Polker is poker reimagined, and that is how we want people to think of when they hear Polker.

Can you talk about the POLKER ecosystem? Do you have core features and functional benefits that can attract users?

Well, Polker.game is the first use case of PKR.

Polker has 2 models — free-to-play or play-to-earn model. It will be absolutely free anyone to play — for those looking to play a couple of quick hands at a table without wagering any money. You earn play chips per day, and you play more, level up, and gain more levels, you get more play chips per day.

Our play-to-earn system is unlocked by the PKR pass , which will allow players to earn scraps and keys to enter STT to earn more keys for treasure chest. Each Pass has its own sub-tier and game time bonus. Each tier comes with its own benefits, and we will publish the details on exactly which benefits a player gains with each tier

As for the game’s features, let me just give you a rundown.

Our Provably Fair System uses the potential of the blockchain to provide full transparency in every aspect of gameplay by using our multiple patents granted technology. The player is fully protected against fraud and cheating. We store every gameplay action and value as a hash in a smart contract on the blockchain. By taking the raw values and hashing them, you are able to compare and verify the results independently to prove there was no manipulation.

Our True Random Number Generator (TRNG) system is a provably fair and auditable technology that uses both SHA-256 hashing in combination with blockchain technology. The protocol uses seed words from the users (typically players) combined with a seed word from the PKR protocol. The resulting SHA-256 hash is then used to interact with a smart contract on the blockchain network. The resulting block header from this transaction is used to create a provably fair random number.

Our graphics is built on Unreal Engine 4, which powers real time graphics, highly detailed assets like dealers, environments, tables and visual effects.

So we have F2P, P2E, NFTs, metaverse, 3D Unreal Engine 4 graphics, TRNG and Provably Fair System — elements that we believe will redefine poker gaming industry.

What is the POLKER token? What are the utility in your ecosystem? What are the benefits of holding your token as long term investment?

$PKR is our native token that powers our ecosystem. You can use PKR to buy the PKR pass to unlock our play-to-earn system, to buy more play chips, and in-game cosmetics. In-game purchases will be available via the PKR-X with a 1:1 ratio.

Polker.game is just the first game in our ecosystem, and our users and holders will have this opportunity to grow with us and experience the evolution of our game and the metaverse that we are building.

Can you share the POLKER roadmap so far and what phases is currently taking place? what should we expect in the coming months?

Our Early Access is ongoing right now. The full game release (Windows — exe) will be this second quarter. Our official merchandise store will open as well.
Mobile development is starting this quarter as well. The full game release for Mac and new feature roll for both Mac and Windows are slated for the third quarter. By the last quarter, we will be launching new games and expanding the Polker metaverse. The mobile version of the game will be out first quarter of 2023.

My question is, POLKER will allow players to bet on dozens of cryptocurrencies initially but eventually hundreds, without the need to convert their holdings to a single supported cryptocurrency standard.Will they show the fiat value of cryptocurrency bets?

No bets as we are a non-gambling game.

We currently use PKR in our game for now. However, we will be implementing our patented multi-crypto currency protocol for future in-game purchases, which will allow users/gamers to use their cryptocurrency of choice whilst displaying the live value in the fiat currency of choice. The live price data is pulled from an oracle so that all parties involved have accurate price data displayed in the currency of choice. With this protocol, users can have an easy check out process, without having to worry or get confused about multiple chains and wallet usage.

The use of multiple cryptocurrencies will also make the platform more accessible to the wider public.

Since this tech is patented, this can be made available to other gaming and e-commerce platforms.

I see that Polker has done numerous events and airdrops via telegram, discord and twitter to reward and incentivize their users. But what impact has this had on their platform so far? What are the new dynamics you will implement to keep your community engaged with Polker?

The Twitter competition was started just 2 weeks ago, and will run for 60 days, and has a total prize of 100K PKR. The prior competitions had NFTs as prizes. The latest Twitter competition is bringing more engagement and members to our Telegram and Discord communities, and providing a wider exposure for the project. We continue to have our Trivia Fridays, which will move between Telegram ang Discord. For sure, will have more engagement lined up, after the latest event.

At the beginning of April, you released extensive details of the recent patch released to the Polker game. Can you share what this patch improved and upgraded? Which features have been patched? Also, what security features have you added to make the platform secure?

Our devs are working on the latest patch now, which has includes 57 fixes/features. .

PARTNERSHIP/are the most important that strengthen the ecosystems of all projects. Could you tell us about your project partners and the partnership strategy it has adopted?

We have several partners such as Unreal Engine for our graphics, Polygon for their scaling solution, TronPad, BSCPad, Bondly, and BullPerks for our launchpads. We have partnered with ICO Pantera, a leading growth accelerator in Korea and the Asia, to help us spread awareness about Polker and improve our exposure in South Korea and Asia; Raze Network, to help us secure the metaverse we are building and to keep the initial values of De-Fi — privacy and security. We are also working with Gamerse, lauded as the ‘NFT Gaming Social Economy in Metaverse’. With Gamerse, our platfrom users will be part of the first-ever NFT Gaming Social Ecosystem which will allow them to explore popular NFT games aggregated and brought together in a single social marketplace. We are also integrating Chainlink’s price feeds into our own patented multi-crypto marketplace. We have partnered with Refinable for our NFT marketplace where you can buy, sell, and trade our NFTs.

All these partnerships have been carefully selected and integrated not just to develop our game but our ecosystem as whole.

A few days ago you announced the extension of the $PKR participation pools for 3 more months within your platform. Could you tell us what led you to extend the period of this event? What will happen to these pools after those 3 months?

Not a few days ago. The pools were supposed to end on March 25, but were extended to June 25, 2022, and the aim still remains the same — to incentivize long-term holding for our investors. We will announce any updates to the staking pools on or around June 25.

Security and anonymity are always prioritized by BlockChain projects in the development of project platforms and technologies. So, does you have any technological solutions or plans to enhance user trust in these issues?

Our Smart Contract was fully audited by Beosin. Quinel, a leading independent and internationally accredited testing laboratory/inspection body in the field of gaming, completed the the penetration testing and security audit in September last year. We continue to carry out extensive penetration tests on all updates that have been made since our last Security Audit. We will have Quinel back on board to run full penetration testing of the game to ensure all aspects of the game are fully secure at launch. I have mentioned Raze earlier, who is helping us secure the metaverse we are building and to keep the initial values of De-Fi — privacy and security.

You announced the launch of the NFT Marketplace in early April. Please share your NFT Marketplace. What will players be able to trade through your Marketplace? What NFTs will your market support? Will it work like the general market or will it be exclusive to Poker lovers?
